Mirsad is a 62-year-old electrician who grew up and lives in a patriarchal environment. His settled, routine existence is suddenly turned upside down when his wife, Enisa, unexpectedly passes away. Mirsad is left alone, while his adult children lead separate lives.

As he struggles to adjust to life without his wife, he comes to realise that throughout their marriage he failed to give her the attention and love she deserved, taking her for granted instead. His already estranged relationship with his son deteriorates further when he discovers that his son is living with a male friend.

While his best friend tries to persuade him to find another woman, Mirsad begins to question his life and the way he has treated the people around him. However, it is too late to make amends with Enisa. He soon begins to realise that his daughter, too, is living a life much like her mother's.
